CPA Ontario is currently in search of a Paid Media Specialist who will be responsible for planning and routinely optimizing internet advertising - in particular, Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns including Google and Bing search engine advertising in order to drive engagement and revenue for CPA Ontario’s Professional Development portal. In this position you will also handle reporting and data analysis to support campaign performance and the assessment of key performance metrics. 

What You’ll Be Doing:

Developing, implementing, and managing Pay-Per-Click (PPC) campaigns as well as conducting keyword research, creating ad copy and optimizing campaign spend.

Monitoring and analyzing campaign data to identify trends, insights, opportunities for optimization and providing regular reports to the Digital Marketing team related to campaign performance, key metrics as well as recommendations to improve campaign performance.

Providing subject matter guidance for developing, implementing, and optimizing Pay-Per-Click campaigns as well as researching and testing new features and tools within PPC channels. 

Continually staying current with emerging trends and industry best practices in digital advertising and identifying new opportunities to improve future campaign performance and increase return on investment. 

Who You Are:

A post-secondary graduate with a degree or diploma in Marketing or other business discipline. 

Experienced with PPC campaigns, digital marketing platforms and tools including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize, Google Ads, Microsoft Clarity, and others. 

Familiar with the Google Ads platform as well as search engine optimization (SEO) best practices and can utilize this knowledge for the creation of PPC campaigns. 

Detail-oriented and able to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously as well as able to interpret data, conduct analysis and identify trends and use insights for decision-making.

Knowledgeable with eCommerce, cart abandonment, cart optimization, and purchase path analysis along with experience with a content management system (CMS) is preferred.

A strong communicator (verbal and written) with excellent interpersonal skills, which enables you to collaborate with colleagues and contribute to ongoing process improvement efforts with ease.
