Applications Developer - Salesforce
CPA Ontario is currently in search of an Applications Developer – Salesforce to support the organization’s on-going technology transformation. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining solutions on the Salesforce platform that will involve using a variety of tools and frameworks for building and deploying code, reviewing code written by other developers, bug fixing, testing and maintaining code coverage, documentation and adherence to software release policies.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Working collaboratively with business stakeholders including business analysts and a solution architect to ensure products and systems are built and configured to function, as required and collaborating with third party product experts for solution design, build, and implementation.
Serving as a subject matter expert on Salesforce B2C Commerce cloud and designing and implementing solutions within established DevOps guidelines.
Contributing to the improvement of scalability, maintainability and efficiency of company applications by identifying concerns and suggesting improvements.
Participating in migration and retirement activities for specified legacy systems.
Who You Are:
A post-secondary graduate preferably in information systems, computer science, engineering or related field.
An expert in Salesforce B2C Commerce cloud and comfortable training others and acting as a point of contact throughout and after implementation of this ecommerce solution. Experience with Service Cloud and Community Cloud is highly preferred.
Committed to ongoing training and certification and possess a Salesforce Developer 1 certificate, and ideally, other certifications.
An exceptional communicator with strong interpersonal and proven relationship building ability.
Highly organized and able to manage projects and timelines with ease while delivering applications within tight deadlines and a fast-paced, technical environment.
Able to work efficiently and effectively as a team member, as well as independently.
A self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively about solutions.
Experienced in Apex, Visual Force, Lightning Components, SOQL, SOSL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
Experienced setting up and working with DevOps tools such as Bit Bucket, Jira and Gearset.
Able to implement Web Design concepts and UX/UI Design.
