Senior Hospitality & Training Manager

Now, if you were to come on board as our Senior Hospitality & Training Manager , we'd ask you to do the following for us:

  • Manage a dynamic portfolio of Marquise specific Hospitality and Training programs including, but not limited to Resident First, My Great Start, Marquise Leadership Pathway and the Marquise Micro Training Library
  • Manage and supervise the Hospitality and Training Team
  • Administrate of the current MY LMS system for the Marquise sector by the tracking and evaluation of training programs to ensure appropriate business impact
  • Facilitate face-to-face training for a variety of levels management and front line associates
  • Facilitate training to groups of various sizes as well as one on one delivery
  • Facilitate training programs using blended learning techniques
  • Providing "train the trainer" support to assist in the provision of training to our widely decentralized organization
  • Conduct research into programs and tools leading to the best options for delivery
  • Maintain a self-directed approach to staying current on best practices in the marketplace

Think you have what it takes to be our Senior Hospitality & Training Manager ? We're committed to hiring the best talent for the role. Here's how we'll know you will be successful:

  • 5+ years' experience in developing and facilitating training sessions in a corporate environment
  • Undergraduate university degree required, or 3 year college diploma with experience
  • Strong evidence of continuous learning
  • Proven ability to employ adult learning principles throughout the instructional design and facilitation processes
  • Experience in coaching and mentoring manager
  • Excellent communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Articulate Story Line and Learning Management Systems
  • Great consultative skills with strong ability to influence all levels of professionals
  • Strong project & time management skills (planning, analysis, organizing and prioritizing)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willing to travel up to 40% (within Canada)
  • Positive with a great "can do" attitude!

Additional assets include:

  • Certificate or equivalent in adult education
  • CTP or CTDP or CHRP
  • Knowledge of DISC methodology
  • Coaching designations
  • Experience in building training programs on multimedia platforms
