The Marketing Manager is reporting to the Regional Vice President and is responsible for the execution and quality assurance of all marketing programs within a specified region to deliver sales growth.

Now, if you were to come on board as our Marketing Manager, we'd ask you to do the following for us:

  • Oversee multiple sites in a region in the execution of all marketing programs in order to grow like for like sales while maintaining the integrity of internal and external brand standards
  • In partnership with RDO drive and update LFL Action Plans for each account while participating in weekly meetings/calls to ensure 100% compliance
  • To improve like for like sales by required corporate % targets as directed by the Sector EVP
  • To ensure marketing plans are delivered in full and on time to drive LFL results
  • Execute annual marketing plan for each unit with the UM so as to gain compliance for all marketing initiatives
  • Develop annual marketing content calendars, best practices, catalogues, guidelines and toolkits (ie.through various mediums such as face to face meetings, e-mail, regional meetings, conference calls, and presentations)
  • To ensure full compliance and execution of the plans that will drive LFL and meet client and consumer expectations
  • Ensures retail excellence is being executed at all accounts ( ensuring merchandising best practices are being followed and consumer flow makes sense for each account)
  • To maximize retail sales to ultimately drive LFL sales growth
  • Identify what digital platforms to focus on in order to communicate compelling content and maximize consumer engagement and LFL growth.
  • Identify opportunities within the digital marketing space to focus on. Develop and ensure standards for digital marketing programs and in-unit digital content (websites, social platforms, digital screens) are in place
  • Coach Operations (managers and associates) on how to execute the agreed marketing plans/initiatives, policies, expectations and processes ( assessing the needs of designated unit of the region, develops appropriate materials/presentations and acts as a single point of contact for all marketing needs)
  • Guide Marketing Execution Manager team, including hiring and recruiting support when needed
  • Holds monthly 'calls' to review regions performance by unit with the DM and MD and puts action plans in place from identified performance
  • By reviewing monthly region and unit performance, "driver" (superstar) and "drag" (poor) accounts are identified accordingly
  • Enables Marketing to work on accounts that need attention or improvement to ensure LFL targets are hit

  • University or college degree in marketing or general business
  • Minimum of 4 years in Marketing or Operations
  • Strategic marketing experience preferred
  • Restaurant, retail, QSR, field experience required
  • Demonstrated marketing success
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in computer skills ( media trends, innovation, MS PowerPoint)
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing space – current and emerging
  • Experience working with Facebook, Instagram, SnapChat, Twitter, Google Analytics and other platforms Proficient with Social Media
