Analyst, Web and Social Media (Position can be located anywhere in Canada)

This is a temporary position of a duration of 12 months.

Responsibilities: 

• Analyze and report on the performance of CMHC’s digital content on the web and social media, including marketing campaigns and tactics.
• Produce reports, dashboards and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by compiling and integrating data from multiple sources.
• Consult with internal stakeholders on web and social media measurement needs, and develop specific KPIs.
• Provide expert advice on web and social media analytics and measurements.
• Monitor industry trends and evolving landscape of web and social media analytics and tools. 
• Work with the web team to track various changes to the website and identify impacts for measurement and analytics.

Minimum Qualifications
• Undergraduate degree in communications or marketing with a minimum of one to three years of prior experience as an analyst in web and social media analytics.
• Strong knowledge of web analytics tools (i.e. Google Analytics and Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics, SiteCore Analytics) and social media analytics tools (i.e. Hootsuite).
• Strong understanding of digital marketing activities and tactics, and how to measure their impact.
• Experience with dashboard production and data visualization tools, including PowerBI, Excel, Google Data Studio).
• Experience in identifying and addressing business measurement needs and KPIs.
• Experience in distilling large quantities of data into clear and concise insights and formulating actionable recommendations.
• Ability to communicate analysis to non-technical and non-analytical audiences.
• Extensive attention to detail and accuracy with solid analytical skills.
