Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

You’ll join CIBC’s Investors Services Inc. (ISI) Montreal team. As an Investment Representative (IR) you’ll provide a positive customer experience by servicing clients and ensuring that all efforts towards single call resolution are delivered on a timely basis. You’ll accurately process all trade and non-trade related requests in accordance with CIBC Investor Services Inc. (CIBC ISI) policies and procedures and IIROC regulations. The expected start date will be Monday November 14th, 2022.

At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. A quick note on your availability – our Contact Centre is open Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm.  We’d like for you to be flexible between these hours.

As your time with us grows, CIBC work from home set-up may be available to you.

  • You are fluent in French and English to support business operations outside of Quebec, Canada. Cantonese, Mandarin will be asset to have.

  • You have current accreditation and good standing of Canadian Securities Course (CSC).  You will be required to complete the Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) within the first 6 months employment.

  • Your training will get you equipped with the skills and knowledge to provide the best possible experience to CIBC clients – we know there’s a learning curve and we’re here to help. You’ll initially participate in approximately 5 weeks onsite training in Montreal as of November 14th, 2022  with a mix of in-class learning and on-the-job application - from Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. EST
