Volunteer Bookkeeper, Board Member - Whitchurch Stouffville Food Bank - Whitchurch Stouffville Foodbank

Under the direction of the Treasurer, this individual will assist in handling the day-to-day bookkeeping requirements and perform general accounting administration duties.  Responsibilities include processing all donations, whether electronic, cash, credit card, cheque or in-kind; summarizing donations, issuing tax receipts, and associate reporting on donations as well as providing backup coverage for the Treasurer when needed.

This Whitchurch-Stouffville resident should demonstrate experience with accounting principles and be well-versed in Quikbooks and be prepared to attend and contribute ideas and insights at all Board meetings.

The goal of our Whitchurch Stouffville Food Bank is to provide food support to individuals and families within the Whitchurch Stouffville area.  Since 1990 our Board Members and Volunteers have been dedicated to serving our community by providing assistance in a caring and nonjudgmental way to those who are in need.
