Part-time Casual Support Worker - Community Living Dundas County
Candidates will support adults who have an intellectual disability as they develop their capacity to live, learn, work and participate in all aspects of living in the community. Candidates would be responsible and accountable to the staff team for the emotional, physical, spiritual, social/leisure and vocational well being of adults who have an intellectual disability. Assist in development, implementation, assessment and documentation of personal outcomes, behaviour strategies and supports. Ensure health and safety by assisting them with personal care, preparing nutritious meals and maintain a secure, clean, and safe home environment.
Requirements: Diploma in Human Services (DSW, SSW), excellent interpersonal communication and behavioural expertise, ability to work effectively as a team member in collaboration with outside agencies; and a valid Ontario driver's license, CPR/First Aid, and Nonviolent Crisis Prevention (CPI).
