Outreach Ambassador - LetsStopAIDS
LetsStopAIDS is a Canadian youth-HIV charity that focuses on HIV prevention and knowledge exchange by engaging young people and fostering leadership. Since 2004, we have been creating a global network of youth-HIV leaders. LetsStopAIDS is entirely run by volunteers and your contribution will be part of the broader volunteer effort.

You will be our ambassador within the HIV community. You’ll drive the reach and reputation of LetsStopAIDS by engaging with our target audience online and in-person.
We are looking for social, ambitious, but humble individuals who have strong communications skills. You will deliver key messages to other members within the HIV community and be able to encourage open discussions.
Responsibilities & Skills:
Reach out members of the broader HIV community and become our ambassador
Identify community-related opportunities for potential events or partnerships
Drive our reach and engagement by interacting with youth in innovative ways.
Attend local community events as a LetsStopAIDS ambassador
Be our community representative and share knowledge about HIV to raise awareness and deliver key messages on LetsStopAIDS’ services and programmes
Provide regular feedback to the Peer Education team to share your successes and how to improve our local outreach efforts
Other duties as assigned
Dedication: The role will require 5-8 hours per week. Certain tasks may require irregular volunteer hours, particularly in times of need.
Preference will be given to individuals with lived experiences, relating to HIV.
