Executive Coordinator,  Femmes du Vin 

Contract (Hourly Position based on 10-15hrs/week to start)

What You Will Be Doing

Your primary role will be to support the FDV Board of Directors on the 2020/2021 on all projects and administration.  Many of our annual projects involve looking at community development, seminars and education, scholarships, and mentorships activities. This position will require the successful candidate to work effectively with diverse stakeholders including community-based organizations, sponsors, other partnerships and collaborators as well as attend to other administrative duties as needed to help reach goals and metrics for the organization. 

This role requires an individual who will

  • Use their skills to develop and execute projects and administration ensuring the achievement of FDV goals and objectives

  • Help to manage an annual budgets and resources to ensure cost-effectiveness and program accountability

  • Be an effective communicator for successful project delivery over emails and phone

  • Work collaboratively with diverse community groups and stakeholders

  • Compile project related qualitative and quantitative data for quality improvement and reporting 

  • Contribute to and evolve community-led approaches and partnerships 

  • Develop project reports, briefing notes, and status updates for BOD on a regular basis

  • Participate in all meetings and status updates

  • Take notes and lead status updates at every BOD meetings 

  • Administrative assistance to each board member around their individual tasks

  • Other duties as assigned including general email inbox inquiries and website maintenance and updates, staff updates, memos, seminar and event planning as required

About You

You will have a Graduate degree in a relevant discipline and 2-3 years of project management experience and can demonstrate:

  • Excellent project management skills including; planning, resource and financial management, communication, risk management, and problem solving

  • Knowledge of how to work effectively with diverse stakeholders

  • Knowledge of not-for-profits in the global context is an asset but not mandatory

  • Knowledge of wine, spirits, and hospitality industries is an asset but not mandatory

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Google Drive

  • Excellent time management and organization skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively and effectively with diverse communities and stakeholders

Working Conditions

  • This position is a virtual position, work from home 

  • This position is offered as a 3-month contract (January 15th – April 15th ) with the possibility of extension. 

  • A commitment to 10-15 hours/week  which may increase based on the needs of the organization
