Environment Program Coordinator - Park People/ Amis des parcs

The successful individual will support the delivery of TD FEF programs. Program success will be dependent on developing and maintaining relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including TD employees, community organizations, TD FEF Advisory Board members and others. The primary focus of this role will be supporting the management of the TD FEF Grant program (more information can be found at  In addition, the role will support Park People, a charity that works to build stronger communities by animating and improving parks, providing administrative, programming and research support.

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and operational support for TD FEF and Park People programs
  • Support TD FEF Regional Managers in delivery of environmental programs within TD bank, including TD FEF Grants, TD Tree Days, TD Green Space Grants and others
  • Assist Regional Managers with the processing of grant applications (through Cybergrants), including the creation of all supporting documentation required for TD FEF Advisory Board Meetings, and reporting for completed grant programs
  • Contribute to effective and efficient administrative operations of the TD FEF Team
  • Liaise with potential or existing TD FEF grant applicants
  • Leverage and create meaningful content for TD communications channels to raise awareness of TD FEF programs
  • Coordinate logistics for TD FEF Advisory Board meetings and Community Partner Receptions
  • Represent TD FEF at internal TD and external community events
  • Support external social media efforts for both organizations (TD FEF and Park People)
  • Support the Park People team as required, particularly the Programming and Administrative team; occasional program support at park sites

Job Requirements:

  • Strong organization and project management skills, with excellent attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong commitment to customer service
  • Experienced in social media (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Proactive problem-solver
  • Highly motivated team player with the ability to work independently
  • Proficiency in all MS Office programs including Excel, PowerPoint and Word; proficiency using the internet and cold calling for research purposes

Salary Range: $34,000-$42,000 pro-rated

Anticipate start date: Early January 2021

1-year contract with possibility of extension
