Casual Child & Youth Workers for Day Treatment Program - Crossroads Children's Centre
Crossroads Children’s Mental Health Centre (CCMHC) is looking for casual Child & Youth Workers to join our Day Treatment team.
CCMHC works exclusively with children up to the age of 12 and their families. We specialize in behavioral problems and mental health concerns such as aggression, impulsivity, poor social skills, anxiety, sadness, depression, fear, and suicidal thoughts.
CCMHC is accredited with the Canadian Centre for Accreditation.
- Child & Youth Worker diploma or Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, or equivalent degree.
- A broad knowledge of the principles of treatment, the developmental and care needs of children and family dynamics.
- Experience in a school setting preferred.
- Training in the Collaborative Problem Solving approach considered an asset.
Note: This position requires daytime availability. This is an on-call position and at times will require replacing staff with little to no notice.
