Financial analyst
We are looking for a French / English bilingual professional to fill the following position: Financial Analyst
Permanent full time, 35 hours / week Location: Welland Salary grid : 55 416$ to 64 960$, excellent benefits
Under the immediate supervision of the Director of Finance and Corporate Services, the Financial Analyst contributes to the smooth operation of the Center by following Financial Management policies and procedures in effect.
Responsibilities :
- Keep complete and accurate accounting records (manuals and TI) using Great Plains and Excel
- Produce financial reports using the Microsoft Great Plains
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of the annual audit process and ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles
- Provide budgeting support to managers
- Participate in staff and sector meetings
- Participate in the preparation of budgets, financial documents and quarterly reports
Aptitudes :
- Post-secondary diploma in Business Administration (Finance, Accounting)
- Minimum of 3 years in financial administration experience
- In-depth knowledge of recognized accounting practices and procedures
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Great Plains accounting software, knowledge of Excel, Word, Microsoft Outlook
- Health system computer network knowledge
- Organized and able to adapt to change
- Good communication and interpersonnel skills
- Excellent command of the French language (oral and written) and good command of the English language(oral and written)
- Availability to work flexible hours
- Hold a valid Ontario driver's license and have access to a vehicle
