Commercial Lines Account Manager
COMMERCIAL LINES ACCOUNT MANAGER
While working closely with the Account Executives and the Account Assistants, the Account Manager is primarily responsible for the ongoing management of commercial clients, retention of new and renewal clients, and maintaining a partnership with the Account Executive to support business development activities while upholding high service standards.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Work with an established book of technical, commercial business
- Communicate with the insured and the insurance company throughout the course of the policy term
- Attend and actively participate in new business and renewal meetings
- Coordinate with the Marketing department on new and existing business
- Enhance your customer service skills working with your clients on day-to-day matters
- Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas (account rounding)
- Demonstrate high levels of accuracy and integrity
- Encourage and model collaborative behaviors
- Advance towards your own growth goals in the company, owning your development and continuing education when applicable
- Participate in training and professional development courses to enhance skills and industry knowledge, as well as related insurance products
- Provide quality internal customer service to peers by maintaining relationships, managing expectations and professional communication that is friendly, timely and clear
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 - 3 years Commercial Insurance experience
- Must hold a Level 2 General Insurance License
- Fluent in Microsoft Office
