The BSIP Program has hundreds of roles that are segmented into six streams. We’re hiring for all six steams in several geographic locations across Canada and the US.  Review all six streams and choose how you will grow by applying online.

Qualifications

What you will do

  • Coordinator is a broad term for a position that focuses on bringing together employees, products, clients and other resources for a company. This can be interviewing and placing employees as a Human Resource Coordinator, managing the life cycle of products as a Inventory Coordinator, choosing locations, and overseeing customer satisfaction as an event coordinator or creating and overseeing content for a customer program  
  • Coordinator is an increasingly complex role in many organizations, and more and more companies are requiring a mix of work experience and at least a bachelor's degree in disciplines like business, finance, engineering,  or human resources.  

Coordinator Job Duties can encompass:

  • Acts as a first contact for all clients and creates an inviting, professional atmosphere
  • Discusses client needs and desires for an event
  • Plans and executes all events
  • Oversees event production and solves problems as they arise
  • Coordinates mail, shipping, and receiving
  • Manages office supplies and orders materials as necessary
  • Provides support for human resources, such as scheduling interviews and filing resumes
  • Handles expense accounts and reserves rooms and flights for staff
  • Maintains office equipment
  • Follows up with clients and vendors
  • Tracks and reports all legal compliance
  • Organises meetings and distributes all informational materials for meeting
  • Schedules speakers for workshops
  • Assists finance and accounting departments in fiscal operations
  • Investigates possible business venues 
  • Helps manage budgets 
  • Coordinator roles are located in every business group at BMO - Personal and Commerical Banking, Technology & Operations, Wealth Management,  Human Resources, Marketing, Legal, etc.

What you have

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.        
  • Strong attention to detail  
  • Critical thinking and analysis skills  
  • Organizational skills to do many things at once, keep track of your time, and keep tabs on multiple projects.
  • Reporting skills using Excel and design / communication skills using PowerPoint

If you are selected for an interview you will be contacted by a Campus Recruiter between November 27, 2017 and March 16, 2018 to discuss your qualifications and potential fit for the internship program. 

If you are successful, a second round interview with the hiring manager will follow. The hiring manager will discuss the specifics of the role and provide a more detailed job description.
