Responsibilities:

  • Design, code, test and deliver automated OS Images, updates and software installations in production quality
  • Maintain the highest level of security for Bell Media platforms
  • Simplify, standardize and optimize the broadcast production IT infrastructure to improve the process of integrating new services.
  • Supports existing multi-site infrastructure and services, including on-call support on rotation.
  • Participate in problem management activities identifying root cause of service disruptions
  • Keeps updated documentation of installations and systems
  • Assist peers and participate in infrastructure evaluation, testing and capacity planning
  • Participate in off-hours installations or emergency interventions , on-call as required to support the service delivery of Bell Media products
  • Act as technical lead and liaison on projects
  • Collaborate with the team on implementing Agile processes for projects delivery

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Networking or other equivalent experience
  • Broadcast media experience is valuable
  • Expert knowledge Windows workstation
  • Expert knowledge with automated deployment tools, such as Ivanti, SCCM, Microsoft deployment tool (MDT)
  • Excellent knowledge of scripting (VB, Powershell, Python, Json.)
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to demonstrate how they have been used
  • Strong ability to recognize opportunities for improvement in daily work and to take appropriate action
  • Comprehension of Microsoft's' implementation of LDAP (Active directory)
  • Working knowledge Server administration
  • Good verbal and written communications skills in both French and English
  • Motivated self-starter in following through multiple tasks and projects
  • Ability and desire to work as a team to accelerate the transformation of systems and processes using Agile methodology, including participation in Scrums etc..
  • Time management skills and strong professional ethic (high motivation) to manage multiple projects and responsibilities

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
