Position: On-Air Announcer, Bell Media

Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week


Job Description

  • Host Radio Afternoon Drive Show with emphasis on providing local news/community events, pop culture, entertainment and lifestyle content
  • Assisting with the achievement of station’s programming, research and ratings targets
  • Promotional and publicity responsibilities for Bell Media as required
  • Build and maintain a trusted network of contacts within the community
  • Attendance at charitable/community events sponsored/supported by Bell Media as required (General Expectation 50-75 events/year)
  • Connect with audience and grow followership for station on social media both while on-air and off (General Expectation 20-25 posts/week)
  • Create entertaining, information, and engaging videos for station, and post to social media (General Expectation 2 videos/month)
  • Providing commercial production voicing and out of market voice tracking service as required (General Expectation 1 hour/day)
  • Other duties as assigned



  • Post-secondary degree in a related field of study
  • Creative, driven and fun to be around
  • Experience with audio/video editing software & Wide Orbit Automation an asset
  • Experience in creating and maintaining an engaged social media audience across multiple platforms
  • Valid class G Ontario Drivers licenses 




Bilingualism is an asset (English and French)
