Position Summary:

Reporting to the Team Lead of the SAP Article Maintenance Team, the Master Data Analyst is responsible for ensuring that all data pertaining to master data records in SAP P77 is set up and maintained with high quality. The Master Data Analyst works closely with teams across the business (Mobility Supply Chain, Bell Residential Services, Channel Primes, Product Managers, Warehouse 3PL Vendor, etc) to support the creation and ongoing maintenance of high quality item data, to ensure master data processes and guidelines are enforced, and serves as a subject matter expert related to master data.

 

Key Job Accountabilities:

  • Work alongside Supply Chain and Product teams to ensure accuracy and timely execution of all requests received for the creation and maintenance of master data (SKU & BMC creation, product pricing, listing, order catalogues, etc) and maintain the requests through a formal process. The Master Data Analyst has a commitment to meeting SLAs and communicating to the business on a timely or ad hoc basis
  • Understand and communicate master data updates (e.g., maintenance, introduction of new fields, modification in attribute definition etc.) that impact downstream systems / teams
  • Support the maintenance of high quality data, proactively monitor data accuracy and facilitate required data corrective actions with business owners. Perform master data analyses
  • Execute on the item delisting process on an ongoing basis to ensure that old items are cleansed out of the system(s)
  • Serve as the subject matter expert and central resource to support all Supply Chain SAP P77 critical project testing
  • Assist with project testing of systems/processes related to master data set up
  • Document master data processes and maintain updates to documentation

 

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Solid knowledge of Supply Chain operations
  • Strong SAP P77 and Mobility MDM (Master Data Management) system/technical knowledge
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and a solid working knowledge of MS Office
  • Working knowledge of the application Winshuttle
  • Demonstrates analytical and systems thinking skills resulting in problem solving
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Ability and desire to meet required timelines, and be proactive in problem solving
  • Proven ability to prioritize and remain organized without losing focus on details in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to document and maintain updates to documentation related to master data processes
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

 

Education/Experience:

  • College degree in a business or operations discipline
  • Relevant Supply Chain Product Supply knowledge and/or master data set up

 

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
