Position Summary:

The Customer Operations Provisioning & Facilities Assignment Clerk is accountable for assigning and programming plant facilities for all lines of business.  The Customer Ops Assignment Clerk operates efficiently to support Bell MTS technicians, Contractors, Test Centre staff, Intra and Sales Agents.  You will be required to prioritize and analyze basic and complex service requests for both residential and business customers using DigiTEK. Orders will require translations and programming in various Central Office Switches and provisioning applications as required.  Accurately administers customer service records situated in the CLASS, Gen View Assurance, AFIRM, FCM and Switch databases.

 

NOTE: Non-standard hours of work including evenings, weekends and holidays.

 

Primary Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED; or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • Experience with Assignment processes and systems required for assigning facilities; 1R, 1B or multiline/PBX service provisioning, porting, assigning and supporting Bell MTS
  • Extensive experience with switch technologies; NGSS and DMS-10, DMS-100, GTD-5, DCO
  • Extensive experience with CLASS, AFIRM, FCM, NGSS, nTRIAD, Gnet Viewer, ADSL, INFAS, SOA Neustar as it relates to Assignment
  • Experience with DigiTEK for assigning and programming orders
  • Ability to learn new technology and programs quickly and efficiently
  • Must be able to multi-task within a fast paced environment and effectively solve problems
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written
  • Experience loading TNs, working on LTO rejects, internal ports

 

Secondary Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the customer provisioning and repair process
  • Knowledge of Bell MTS policies, procedures and practices with emphasis on those related to Assignment
  • Knowledge of FION processes
  • Proficiency with personal computers in a Windows environment including MS Office productivity tools
