WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Senior Coordinator, Human Resources will be responsible for supporting the Hiring Managers in recruiting and hiring by assisting in the full recruitment cycle for the province of Quebec. The Senior Coordinator, Human Resources is also responsible for the coordination and support of various human resources programs such as talent acquisition, retention and various human resources functions. The ideal candidate for this position must be able to build strong working relationships with various internal and external groups and have a keen interest in implementing improvement initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Support and follow up with hiring managers on their recruitment needs for administrative, non-executive and executive positions - Act as an advisor throughout the entire hiring process (posting, sourcing, interviewing, skills assessment, candidate selection and onboarding) - Build relationships with various stakeholders; responsible for communication with placement agencies and participate in job fairs - Coordinate interviews and ensure an optimal candidate experience - Follow Bell and BST recruitment standards and policies - Ensure compliance of required documents and forms - Write contracts - Conduct workshops and presentations to new hires and development program participants - Manage process improvement and recruitment projects - Maintain the accuracy of recruitment dashboards - Research and implement effective recruiting strategies to reinforce BTS' high performance culture - Provide various reports and analysis on human resources data - Present projects and analysis to management   SKILLS - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple files simultaneously in a dynamic environment - Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines - Ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision, promote continuous improvement and enjoy working in a team environment - Strong ability to develop positive interpersonal relationships and interact with different levels of the organization - Demonstrate leadership skills - Ability to work in a diverse workforce environment (unionized and non-unionized)

QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or equivalent training - 1 to 3 years’ experience in a recruitment or related role - Fluently bilingual (oral and written) in French and English - Good command of Excel, Word and PowerPoint  

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday to Friday. Workplace: Argentia Travel to different work centers (Argentia, Horner) is required. Must have a car for travel. Work profile: Hybrid * approximately 1 day per week in the office Type of position: Non-management professional (non-unionized) P2
