What’s the role?  (aka What you’ll do)

The Bell Cloud Practice is looking for a Senior & Intermediate Cloud Integrators with deep interest in driving customer value and operational efficiencies when migrating workloads supporting our customers’ cloud transformation journeys. Our Cloud Integrator is responsible for technical team leadership of integration/migration teams through large, complex infrastructure engagements in medium to large enterprise environments, supported by senior resources from the Cloud Project Management, Cloud Advisory, Cloud Architecture and Cloud-Native teams as required. Drawing on both technical and business integration acumen, there is the opportunity to interact with and manage relations between both clients and Bell Canada staff.

In addition, this resource will have the opportunity to contribute to and continuously evolve multi-cloud and hybrid cloud integration/migration best practices and tools. 

Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate and put forward the salient issues to all levels of management is important. We are seeking a team player with excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and highly developed problem solving abilities.

 

Job Duties/Accountabilities :

  • Working collaboratively with other integration/migration specialists, build out and manage the Bell multi-cloud and hybrid cloud migration best practices processes and tools
  • Interacting with senior Cloud Practice members and customers to build out the customer’s migration plan
  • Document problems and solutions that address technical issues
  • Technical mentoring and coaching to other technical team members

 

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies :

  • Computer Science, Engineering or Math background preferred
  • Experience facilitating discussions with senior leadership regarding technical / architectural trade-offs, best practices, and risk mitigation
  • Ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges
  • Experience in seamless hand-off of migration projects to managed services

 

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

  • Minimum AWS, Azure and/or GCP certified associate engineer professional certifications, additional  specialty certifications desirable
  • College or University Diploma, related STEM background or related experience
  • 5 / 7+ years of IT Infrastructure experience data center modernization, virtualization, VMware, Hyper-V, IaaS, PaaS and/or SaaS
  • 3+ years experience leading the design, development and deployment of solutions containing: compute, storage, database, security and network for customers
  • 3-5+ years experience in a lead role in cloud integration/migration projects of >40 VMs, larger projects preferred
  • 5+ years hands-on experience leading the design, development and deployment of solutions containing: compute, storage, database, security and network for customers
  • Hands-on knowledge of AWS, Azure and/or GCP services
  • Deep experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Deep experience with configuration management using Chef, Puppet and/or Ansible
  • Deep experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, Cloud Resource Manager, ARM, and/or RAM
  • Experience with integration of cloud services using hybrid cloud technologies
  • Experience with integration of AWS/Azure/GCP cloud services with on-premise technologies
  • Experience with IT security compliance and risk management requirements
  • Experience with Disaster Recovery and High Availability solutions
  • Experience with design tools such as Visio
  • Knowledge of Databases solutions
  • Knowledge of Data Storage and Backup solutions
  • Knowledge of Application Architecture

 

Location:

Toronto, Montreal preferred. Other Bell Canada locations will be considered NOTE this is a hybrid role

 

Bilingualism is preferred (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
