At the heart of this transformation is the Network Cloud Infrastructure and Services team. Our vision: Be recognized by tenants as the simplest, most reliable and adaptable cloud. Nothing less! We are on a mission to enable the Bell Network team to virtualize and cloudify network services and applications by providing self-serve, on-demand, reliable and secure cloud services, while supporting them on their journey.


We are a powerful mix of infrastructure, networking, security, storage, cloud computing, software development experts, supported by a crew of scrum masters and senior managers.


Our squad’s mandate is to build a Kubernetes infrastructure that is reliable, self-serve and managed as code (CaaS), as well as to provide a catalogue of services (PaaS) to enable developers across Bell to deliver value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and help improving software engineering practices across multiple software development teams (infra as code).
  • Contribute to implement good software development practices: continuous integration (CI), continuous deployment (CD), static code analysis, test automation (TDD, BDD), etc.
  • Lead the development of our platform as a service offering (PaaS)
  • Lead the integration of Bell’s Kubernetes cluster in our self-serve platform
  • Design, code, test and deliver the services and functions with production quality.
  • Actively participate to implement DevOps concepts.
  • Contribute to define requirements and specifications with internal groups in an Agile setting (Epics and User Stories)


We are seeking: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 5-10 years of experience as a Software Developer
  • Good Python & Git eco-system knowledge (Unit tests, integration tests framework, TDD, BDD, etc.)
  • Flexibility to work in other OOP Languages (Java, Go)
  • Experience with Shel/Bash
  • Solid development & architecture background (Microservice architecture)
  • Hands-on DevOps experience (Gitlab-CI, Docker/Podman, Helm Charts, K8S, K8S operator)
  • Someone enthusiastic who can quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, with a strong aptitude for innovation
  • Someone who can slice and dice a business/system problem into an easy modular and maintainable solution with your team
  • A team player who can define, establish and communicate their long term vision, who is adaptable to uncertain and changing needs
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)
  • A candidate with strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team


If you have one of the following, it’s even better:

  • Experience with web service protocols (REST API, JSON)
  • Experience with Ansible and/or Terraform
  • Experience on Linux
  • Knowledge of lower level networking





Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
