Name and description of the hiring department:

Field Services – Contract Management Business Intelligence Team (CMBI) Operations manage the delivery of quality and timely field support services, provided by our vendors through innovation, simplification, and continuous improvements in procedures in a cost efficient manner. 

 

CMBI – Reporting and Analysis is responsible for measuring, monitoring, and supporting our vendors. We design, develop and manage automated solutions to allow for deep dives into quality, performance results, metrics, cost-benefit analysis, load trending and forecasting to provide recommendations for quality improvements, process enhancements and cost reductions.

 

The computer application support associate will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing reporting solutions as defined by our Quality & Process optimization teams.

 

Job Duties / Accountabilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

  • Build end to end reporting/analytical solutions, from gathering requirements to final deployment
  • Extract, transform, and load data across multiple environments (MS SQL, SAS, Hive, Impala)
  • Develop automated solutions in accordance with leading enterprise practices and design principles
  • Develop and maintain documentation
  • Work directly with stake holders to understand their business needs
  • Continuous maintenance of existing and newly built projects
  • Support investigation and remediation of production level issues
  • Support production deployment processes and performance testing
  • Manipulate, Analyze, Summarize and present large data sets with meaningful insights 

 

Essential Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Advanced knowledge with large relational database systems MS SQL (test will be administrated)
  • Microsoft Excel intermediate (v-look up, formulas) (test will be administrated)
  • Ability to blend business analysis with technical skillset to develop efficient processes
  • Possess communication skills with the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience
  • Customer service experience

 

Preferred Qualifications / Competencies:

  • Experience working in Power BI table or any data visualization tools
  • Experience in general purpose programming languages (C#, ASP.NET, VB.NET, Java Script, C/C++, MVC, HTML, Python, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere ou .NET preferred)
  • Experience developing and testing software
  • Experience with an RPA software is an asset
  • Experience with web development is an asset
  • Knowledge of Bell Field Services an asset

Working Condition:

  • Tour start / end times vary between 7:00am to 7:00pm
  • Off tour work may be required
