The role

Field Specialists perform a vital role, usually at the wellsite, operating the tools and technologies that deliver solutions to our customers. You will have the opportunity to assemble, disassemble, operate and maintain a variety of equipment, from drill bits to surface cementing gear and rotary steerable systems. This is a skilled, challenging, hands-on job because you will be responsible for ensuring that operations are safe, accurate and carried out in an efficient manner.

Our Field Specialists receive all the training they need to be successful in the field through a multiphase training and development program. Phase one is structured over 12 months, with formal classroom technical instruction, as well as hands-on practice and work with equipment under supervision in a team at the wellsite. The subsequent phases combine e-learning and instructor-led training modules, leading to increasing responsibility, autonomy, and technical competence, with progression depending on your own enthusiasm and capabilities.
