Behind the scenes at TalentEgg: Student group sponsorship applications

Campus Co-ordinator Kate MacKenzie reviewing the student group partnership applicationsAt the beginning of July, we put out a call on Facebook and Twitter that we are looking for Canada’s most innovative and engaging college and university student groups, societies and associations – groups that have some serious influence on campus – to sponsor for the 2012/2013 school year.

Yesterday, July 18, was the deadline for student groups to submit their applications and this morning Campus Co-ordinator Kate MacKenzie is taking a first look at some of the applications (pictured right).

We have been absolutely blown away by the number and quality of applications from student groups across the country.

Many of the applications also included creative online components, such as petitions, videos, Twitter campaigns and more.

Clearly we have some hard work ahead of us – all of the applications are eggs-traordinary!

The entire TalentEgg team would like to give a HUGE thank you to all of the student groups that took the time to submit an application and get our attention online. We already knew the top students in Canada use TalentEgg and now we’ve been able to experience that talent first-hand.

Stay tuned for more information – we’ll be announcing which groups we will be partnering with and some other egg-citing activities very soon!

In the meantime, check out some of the tweets that have been sent to us via the #SponsorUsTE hashtag:
