Over two years ago, when I started working on TalentEgg, I had a really clear mission – helping students and recent grads find meaningful, career-launching opportunities. TalentEgg’s mission has remained constant as we’ve grown, and executing on that mission has been a very egg-citing adventure.
It’s primarily involved building a team and fantastic support network internally in order to:
- find the best jobs and employers
- compile and constantly update a resource section that is useful
- put together the best website possible to help you figure out that tough transition from school to work
Here’s what you can look forward to in 2010
Community features
Have you seen TalentEgg’s new Answers section? You can now ask your tough job hunt questions and participate in crowd sourcing the best responses.
Video, Video, Video
This is our first video blog ever. Yay! We know it’s a little rough around the edges, but like everything we do here at TalentEgg, practice makes perfect. One of our New Year’s resolutions is to have more video on the website, so you can expect video blogs from the team, chats with your fellow students and new grads on issues that are important to you, and helpful tips and tricks from employers and career experts to help you launch your career.
Employer round tables
We’re planning some exclusive meetings between top Canadian employers and students and new grads like you.
And here’s how you can get involved
For us to continue to grow and deliver Canada’s best opportunities, we need your help. Here are four things you can do to help improve TalentEgg today!
