Vault’s Summary:

We are looking for a passionate Mortgage Office to join a boutique entrepreneurial private mortgage lending company. You will be responsible for overseeing the administrative processes of a mortgage origination and funding while providing administrative support to both the president and the CEO. You will be working in a fun, fast paced professional environment where being detailed orientated with strong time management skills are critical.   

Position Overview

The primary focus for this position is to effectively and efficiently review legal documentation and fund mortgages, providing a high level of customer service to Vault customers and their solicitors and in accordance with company policies and procedures. 

Position Responsibilities

  • Mortgage Administration
  • Provide the highest level of service and support to the funding team
  • Obtain, verify and approve all Solicitor’s Final Report documentation
  • Organize and transfer all completed and discharged files to the Mortgage Servicing & Administration department for scanning and storage
  • Responsible for reviewing file documentation and returning calls from Lawyers
  • Retrieve files according to requests from other departments
  • Organize and file incoming mail
  • Maintain and update excel spreadsheet to track funded files
  • Follow-up on outstanding documentation and complete files within 30 days of funding
  • Assist the Funding Team when necessary and whenever time permits during busy periods
