Job Description
You will have the opportunity to work closely with our wealth sales distribution partners including wholesalers and the inside sales team to manage and support existing and future Clients of Sun Life Global Investments.
 
As the point of contact for our wealth management sales team, you will provide coordination and administrative support to ensure the successful implementation and execution of sales initiatives, events, meetings and various exciting marketing projects. You will play a key role in strengthening relationships with existing Clients and building relationships with new Clients, helping Sun Life Financial to provide an exceptional Client experience while meeting important financial objectives.
 
Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and plan regional events by researching and booking venues, food and beverage selections, seating arrangements, managing RSVP lists and ordering and delivering marketing materials, ensuring adherence to budget guidelines and managing follow up reporting
  • Assist in the planning and development of marketing programs and materials, preparing marketing kits and various branding and advertising materials including digital marketing and print materials, signage, and provide ongoing support to build brand awareness for Sun Life Financial wealth products and services
  • Provide administrative support to a Director or other leader including calendar management, scheduling of meetings/conferences/teleconferences, booking travel, organizing and managing expense reports, maintaining accurate files, documentation, and various company records. 
  • Take ownership as first point of contact for the resolution of inquiries, issues, and concerns for advisors and the wealth sales team, and escalate or refer to appropriate business partners and senior colleagues/leaders as necessary, ensuring excellent service levels
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years office support/administrative experience, preferably within the investment industry
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office software (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
  • Knowledge of mutual fund, investment and/or financial services industry
  • Previous experience in sales and Client service
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • Completion of post-secondary education in business
  • Bilingual (English and French) with professional proficiency
  • Completion of, or working toward IFIC and/or CSC courses
  • Experience working with Lotus Notes and CRM software such as SalesForce
