FEEDBACK
JANUARY 2012:
I graduated from a 4-year Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University in June of 2010. I knew that working in an office on a 9 – 5 schedule wasn’t exactly how I envisioned my life. I also had a desire to lead an entrepreneurial lifestyle. Struggling to find my million dollar “get rich quick” scheme, I stumbled upon an even more exciting opportunity…I found a posting for an Account Manager position at Reynolds and Reynolds.
This career provided me with an opportunity to continue my education of the business world while working in arguably the most evolutionary, fast-paced, and globally connected industry - the automotive industry. The systems Account Manager position allows me to have the feeling of being an entrepreneur where I plan my own schedules, work out of a home office, and most importantly generate and maintain business in my territory. The benefit to this entrepreneurial adventure is having a dedicated team of co-workers, a support staff, and an assigned Regional Sales Director as a consultant to your business.
Reynolds and Reynolds has provided me with award winning training programs that included paid travel to the United States where I not only learned job-specific skills but also non-industry specific sales techniques, business practices, and professionalism. It has been a life changing experience and with all the hard work came a lot of fun, friendships, and memories. They have provided a very competitive compensation package fit with many benefits. It’s difficult to put a value on the joy and smell of driving a brand new company car.
Aside from the benefits, compensation, learning experience, training, and lifestyle, Reynolds and Reynolds has a social committee that plans events such as an Annual Hockey Game (Sales vs. Service…Sales obviously the victor in 2011), Golf tournament, softball games, bowling nights, and many other events. It provides a great opportunity for you to meet your support staff, team, and co-workers while even providing the opportunity to mingle with the company’s President.
Overall, as a new grad entering the workforce, I couldn’t have found a more prosperous opportunity with the amount of flexibility, fun, and experience that I’ve gained so far. I am looking forward to the rest of my first full Sales Year, working more deals, making more sales, and making it happen. Oh, I forgot to mention, I’m most excited about hitting 300 Club and joining the legends.

JANUARY 2012:
“A friend of mine recommended I apply at Reynolds & Reynolds. Once I was hired as an Account Manager Trainee I was put through a nine month training program. During the nine months I travelled back and forth from the company’s headquarters in Dayton, Ohio to take several courses in a classroom environment. While I was home I job shadowed other associates and went on ride-alongs to dealerships. Seven months into my employment I relocated from Vancouver, BC to Calgary, AB to take up my role as an Account Manager for the Southern Alberta territory. While searching for a place to live in my new city, Reynolds & Reynolds accommodated me which made the transition much easier. Since the beginning of my employment no one day has been the same. I visit the dealerships in my territory and help solve issues and find answers to questions they have. My associates at Reynolds & Reynolds have really made the job enjoyable as we all depend on each other. Everyone is willing to help each other at anytime. The training program was very helpful in my day to day tasks, but the real learning starts when you take over a territory and get into the field. You learn something new every day.”

FEBRUARY 2012:
“After I graduated from the University of Guelph with a degree in Applied Science I spent about a year working before I realized I wanted a change. I was offered the role as Regional Sales Assistant at Reynolds and Reynolds and in the short time I have been here I have gained invaluable experience within the corporate world. From the moment I started on my first day I felt welcomed as part of the Reynolds team and I continue to be presented with new challenges and opportunities within my role which help me mature and grow as an individual.”

FEEDBACK
JANUARY 2012:
I joined Reynolds and Reynolds shortly after completing my Bachelor of Business Administration (specializing in Marketing) at York University. I was lucky enough to find a job in the field of my study as a Marketing Communications Associate here at Reynolds. In the short period of time since I started working here, I’ve had the opportunity to work on a variety of different projects and take on a number of different responsibilities. Projects ranging from preparing internal employee communications to creating/managing the marketing plan for various Reynolds Solutions. In October I had the opportunity to fly to Dayton, Ohio to attend a few meetings with my counterparts in the US. All of these experiences have taught me a great deal about the Automotive Industry and have helped to develop my knowledge about Marketing in a B2B company. I look forward to learning more here at Reynolds.
