Lpn Team Lead Campus Of Care (Relief Part Time)
Under the direction of the Clinical Supervisor or Registered Nurse or designate and in collaboration as a member of a multi disciplinary team, performs assessments, plans and provides personal care, and performs nursing procedures. The LPN supervises Nursing Assistants and other designated staff and in the absence of an RN continues nursing procedures, distribution of medications and personal assistance to residents. The LPN functions in accordance with the competency guidelines and scope of practice within the Standards of Practice as outlined by the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia and according to agency operating policies and standards and unit specific protocols. Will promote optimal functional status of the client while allowing clients to have personal choice. These functions are carried out under the auspices of the NHA Mission Statement.
- Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses and holds a valid B.C. Practical Nurse License.
- Plus one (1) year experience in the care of elderly clients.
