Lifeskills Support Worker (Permanent Part Time)
Under the direction of the Team Leader of the Intensive Case Management Team, this position is responsible for assisting mental health and addiction clients with services as outlined in an individual's care plan, with the goal of maximizing independent living. The duties include monitoring of client functions, assisting with medications, personal hygiene, meal preparation, socialization, household management, money management, housing, recreation, transportation, training and vocations skills. This position also monitors client behaviors and reports significant changes to the responsible case manager.
- Diploma in Community Social Service.
- Class V BC Driver's License.
- Certificates in CPR, First Aid and Food Safe.
- Recent, related experience of two years or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience or other qualifications determined to be reasonable and relevant to the level of work.
