Licensed Practical Nurse Team Leader (Casual)
In accordance with the established vision and values of the organization, the Team Leader coordinates Home Support Services by supervising Community Health Workers, overseeing the implementation of client care plans, providing training and evaluation of personal care techniques, and providing advocacy services. In collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, performs assessments, plans, implements and provides personal and nursing care to clients in a community health setting. Provides nursing procedures within the LPN Standards of Practice as outlined by College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia.
- Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses and one (1) year of recent, related acute care or residential experience; or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Current, full practicing licensure with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of British Columbia (CLPNBC).
- Current valid BC Driver's License.
