*This position resides in Toronto, ON and is an 8-month work term commencing January 2018. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work term.

IBM is seeking an IT consultant with experience in developing applications for mobile platform. The candidate will be joining the GBS Microsoft Universal Enterprise Application practice to develop cutting edge applications for enterprises.

Aimed at augmenting IBM's portfolio of offerings, the Microsoft Universal Enterprise Application practice offers W10 solutions. Using Microsoft Xamarin technology IBM is able to offer multi platform native solutions in IOS, Android and W10. In providing clients with access to end-to-end services and offerings that are tailored to their needs, we are able to delivery a successful transition to the client.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Co-op or internship program enrollment is mandatory
  • Proven experience in web development (.net and or C#); Experience with SQL Server
  • Demonstrated communication and presentation skills in business settings
  • Able to write functional requirements using use case specifications or user stories
  • Able to perform business process gap analysis and manage requirement change

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

  • Proven ability to complete complex projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to stay current in technologies / best practices and ability to apply that knowledge toward day-to-day activities.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced team environment

Eligibility Requirements:

This role will involve working with technology that is covered by embargo Export Regulations. If you are a Foreign National from any of the following embargoed countries (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria) on a work permit you are not eligible for employment in this position.
