*This position resides in Ottawa, Ontario and is a 4-month work term commencing September, 2017. It is mandatory that all applicants are enrolled in full-time studies at a post-secondary institution and returning to full-time studies upon completion of the work term.

In this role, you will be asked to contribute to the testing of "IBM Planning Analytics products through the use of manual and automated testing techniques. Candidate will use manual testing to learn how to deliver the highest quality products. Through the creation of automated testcases the candidate will increase their knowledge of programming and gain experience on how it can be used in a real world environment.

The student will experience firsthand how automation plays a role in the lifecycle of a product release schedule. You will learn how automated testing can be used successfully in conjunction with manual testing in order to provide thorough test coverage of a product

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • Co-op or internship program enrollment is mandatory
  • Knowledge of Windows environments.
  • Knowledge of Java programming.
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Visual Basic or Visual C++.

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Windows environments.
