As a Pensions Specialist on the Business Process Services team you will respond to client inquiries as the first point of contact in resolving client issues.

Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Daily analysis and reconciliation of pension plans and pension transactions
  • Analysis between payroll and pension records
  • Liaison between service provider and client ensuring quality control
  • Participation in the development of communication and documentation
  • Analysis of current processes for automation and improvements
  • Working directly with the client
  • Other duties as required

Required Technical and Professional Expertise:

  • At least 1 year working knowledge of Pension Administration and Payroll
  • At least 1 year of experience in HR PeopleSoft or other payroll system
  • Excellent analytical, evaluative, and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, SharePoint
  • Strong interpersonal, writing and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Fluency in English

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience:

  • Canadian Payroll (CPA) Certification
  • Experience in payroll and taxation, banking, book-keeping, A/P and A/R
  • Public sector experience
