Who can apply and how? 
In order to apply, you must be a current post-secondary student and will be returning to school in winter 2018. We look for students that are actively involved in extracurricular activities like; volunteer work, clubs and community involvement. To apply, you must have a GPA of 3.0, equivalent to a B or 85%.

What you will do 
• Learn and apply structured system/application development methodologies. 
• Develop Unix, Windows, or web services scripts to automate some of the common administrative or system tasks our System Administrators perform. 
• Provide support for administrative functions, analytics/reporting, data entry, quality assurance and system testing. 

Qualifications

 What you have 
• The work involves significant hands-on programming. So, proficiency in programming and development practices is essential. 
• Excellent written and communication skills. 
• Quick learner. Able to learn new programing /scripting skills with minimal formal supervision/direction. 
• Exposure to systems scripting, such as Unix Bourne shell and Windows PowerShell etc. 
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems creatively and innovatively. 
Who you are 
• Eager to collaborate and learn. 
• A Statistics, Engineering, Math, or Computer Science major with a passion for system automation and programing. 
• A professional and confident team player
