Inspiring students to be egg-ceptional at Guelph-Humber’s EMERGE Conference

emerge 298x300 Inspiring students to be egg ceptional at Guelph Humbers EMERGE ConferenceEach school year, TalentEgg has the opportunity to speak at dozens of on-campus events across Canada.

We take as many students and professors up on their invitations as possible to ensure that we are not only staying connected with students but also giving back to them by providing invaluable career information and advice.

Last week, TalentEgg founder Lauren Friese was one of two keynote speakers – the other was Entourage actor Adrian Grenier - at the University of Guelph-Humber’s EMERGE Conference, which is planned and hosted by fourth-year Media Studies (Public Relations, Journalism, Image Arts and Digital Communications) students:

“The realization that contemporary issues are best addressed through technology and mobile connectivity is pivotal to the EMERGE Conference. Both the organizing students and attendees will be engaged in a new collaborative and co-operative learning model. EMERGE will demonstrate how budding young professionals can become positive social catalysts and active players in defining their own paths.”

As Canada’s most popular job board and online career resource for students and recent graduates, started by a young entrepreneur, we felt that EMERGE was right in line with what we do every day here at TalentEgg.

The conference was fantastic! Kudos to everyone involved and thank you for inviting TalentEgg to be a part of it. Here are some highlights from Lauren’s keynote – thanks to everyone who tweeted and Instagrammed during her presentation!
